Flat Classroom Project Timeline

The project typically runs for about 8-10 weeks. See the 'Timeline' link on each specific project wiki for more details. See below for the embedded Google calendar where specific project dates are shown.
Here are basic outlines for each of the three projects as they run each year:

FCP-01: January-April
  • Application Deadline: December 1 (previous calendar year)
  • Online Teacher Information meeting before January 15
  • Classroom and student handshake January 15-31
  • Wiki editing and collaboration: February
  • Non-participating classrooms removed from participating: February 15
  • Video pitches and creation: March
  • Student Summits and video judging: April 1-15
  • Awards ceremony: After April 15 as determined by the project organiser
FCP-02: March-June
  • Application Deadline: March 1
  • Online Teacher Information meeting before March 15
  • Classroom and student handshake March 15-31
  • Wiki editing and collaboration: April
  • Non-participating classrooms removed from participating: April 15

  • Student Summits and video judging: June 1-15

We invite interested teachers to access further information about the NetGenEd Project (offered once per year from February - April) and the Eracism Project (offered once per year) and Digiteen Project (offered three times per year) on the respective websites.
