Edna Phythian
Edna Phythian serves in the Highland Park Independent School District as the Global Connections and Senior Internship Liaison, where she has worked for three years. Prior to her current duties, Phythian taught Communications Application at Highland Park High School and coached volleyball and basketball for five years. Having worked in the Texas public education system for fifteen years, Phythian says, "I am a proud educator who enjoys working to create authentic learning opportunities for and with students, is driven by 'doing what is best for kids', and believes that personal reflection allows us to evaluate what we have done in order to know and do what is needed."
